Custom 3D Prints for Collectors & Fans

Stark Monkey 3D started the way a lot of good things do — with a challenge.
 

Back in 2022, my kids got a 3D printer for Christmas. It showed up as a box of parts with rough instructions, and it took a lot of time (and patience) just to get it running. The first successful print was a classic Benchy — a little tugboat — and while it was far from perfect, it was enough to hook us. Watching a machine turn an idea into something real felt like a small miracle.

From there, it became a process of figuring things out the hard way. Dialing in print quality, learning bed leveling, improving adhesion — one small win at a time. What started as helping my kids quickly turned into “Dad’s hobby”… and eventually, Dad’s addiction.
 

These days, I focus on creating custom 3D printed collectibles and spirit gear. I especially enjoy making Chainz, wall hangers, and keychains that connect to music, culture, and team identity — including projects inspired by jam bands and the Grateful Dead. There’s something I really enjoy about clean, crisp logo work, the subtle personality in character pieces, and the challenge of taking an idea from concept to a finished, tangible product.

I’m still learning and pushing deeper into the design side of things, but that’s part of what keeps it interesting. Every project is a chance to improve, refine, and create something better than the last.

As a father of two, balancing family life, a full-time job, and building a business, this has been a journey — and one I’m excited to keep growing.
